Part-Time After-School Tech Teachers Wanted

At My Coding Place, we believe anyone can learn to code with time, practice, and the right support. You don’t need to be a senior developer—we’re looking for enthusiastic instructors who can connect with kids, inspire curiosity, and make learning fun.

 

Schedule:

Minimum commitment of 4.5 hours per week
Availability between 3:00–4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday

 

What You’ll Do

​

• Lead engaging, hands-on tech classes for kids ages 5–12

• Introduce coding, 3D design, and creative digital projects

• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and confidence

• Create a positive, energetic classroom environment

​

Requirements

​

• 1–2 years experience with Scratch (block coding) or Python

• 1–2 years experience working with kids ages 5–12

• Interest and curiosity in engaging children

• Passion for solving problems and teaching analytical thinking

• Enthusiasm for creative technology areas such as video, animation, graphics, music, and coding

• Ability to communicate with school staff and parents

• Ability to lead and manage a group of kids

• Ability to pass a background check
