About the Event
1.Private tutors work at a specific pace.
The benefit of having a private tutor is that the pace is custom-fit to the student. Many times lesson plans that take place in the classroom are time sensitive and fast moving. A private tutor can teach the lesson at a tailored pace allowing the student to ask as many questions as they need.
2. Private tutors provide personal attention. Smaller class sizes provide individualized attention to all students all of the time. A private tutor allows students to go through topics as many times needed for them to understand the curriculum. In addition private tutors will also get to know your child’s individual learning style and modify teaching methods to improve student engagement.
3. They teach more than just the lesson plan. A great benefit of private tutoring is that there are no distractions. Instructors are able to teach all things applicable to help your child understand the curriculum better. For example this may include applicable study skills, time management, organization and prioritizing.
4. Private tutoring is flexible and convenient. Private Instruction is great for those with a busy schedule. Sessions can be adjusted as needed. For example if your child usually has one weekly session but will need some help preparing for an end of course exam you can increase the number of session as you see fit. My Coding Place also provides the convenience of virtual tutoring sessions that students can take in the comfort of their own home.
5. A tutor can help your child outline goals and objectives. When children are at school there often isn’t as much emphasis as there should be on creating goals and objectives. Having a private tutor can really change this, as it’s their priority to help them set goals for your child and most importantly help them achieve them.
